Turners Hill vs Keymer & Hassocks
Div 2
K & H returned to action after a 2 week break and managed to produce their best football of the season in the first 25 minutes as they scored two really good goals.
K & H MOM Jo Davey approaching something like his old self hit a through ball to James Emmens who resplendent in his new white boots duly converted with a feirce drive into the far corner.
Toby Raftery then found Matt Thomas who was clean through but he hit his shot too early and dragged it wide.
Davey added the second with a run into the box before smashing the ball home-the keeper got a hand to it but the power of the shot proved too much.
TH worked hard to get into the game and enjoyed plenty of possession coming close to a reply when they hit the post.
The second half was influenced by 2 sendings off which reduced the quality of the game somewhat.K & H began to tire a little and TH sensing there might be something in the game for them pushed forward in waves but the K & H defence coped well with the Ben Watson/Troy Raftery pairing keeping it tight and keeper Craig Jackson's handling faultless.
