Keymer & Hassocks vs Plumpton Athletic
Stubbins Cup

K & H progressed to the next round of the Stubbins Cup with a 5-1 win over Plumpton
It was the worst game since the Club's formation not helped by the fact that the two clubs don’t appear to like or respect each other very much which made for an unpleasant atmosphere throughout.

K & H opened the scoring through Stuart Thompson but then lost both central defenders Mike Ridley & Ben Watson through injury and had to reorganise which unsettled their play.Thompson won a penalty - K & H MOM Gregor Ross converted whilst Plumpton went close from a corner.

After the break Plumpton had most of the ball as they pressed forward but K & H went further ahead with Thompson's second.Plumpton hit back with a very well worked goal however K & H then eased away as Ross hit another penalty and Toby Raftery rounded matters off from close range.
