Nutley II vs Keymer & Hassocks
Division 4

In Div 4 K & H felt they had a bad day out at Nutley the game finishing 2-2.Nutley opened the scoring early on with a well worked free kick and perfectly placed header. The K & H defence seemed unusally unsettled but gradually tightened up as the team got into the game.Jo Davey appeared to have won a penalty when he was pulled back in the box but nothing was given-however James Harris in his first game back from injury slotted in a deserved equaliser.

After the break K & H had to withstand a series of long balls against the wind whilst at the other end the Nutley defence held tight until Matt Thomas scored what the visitors felt to be a well worked goal but the referee went with the linesman's call for offside. To add to their discomfort Nutley then scored with a powerful header from another set piece. At this point the game seemed lost but Jo Davey capitalised on a defensive error to level after James Emmens had earlier hit the cross bar.K & H finally compounded their misery by contriving to miss a open goal which would surely have secured the points.K & H MOM went to Ian Smith for several heroic tackles.
