Keymer & Hassocks vs Plumpton Athletic II
Division 4
K & H ended up comfortable 7-0 winners at home to Plumpton in Div 4.Wayne Hamilton opened the scoring cleverly converting a defence splitting cross from Toby Raftery but the visitors then enjoyed much more possession and their offside tactics proved very effective wrong footing the K & H attack time and again.
K & H got to grips with the situation near the end of the first half when in the space of 10 minutes 3 strikes by James Emmens (2) and Jo Davey effectively won the game.
The home side were much more relaxed after the break and although Plumpton strove hard to come back found keeper Craig Jackson in commanding form.K & H were now finding more space and it was perhaps no surprise when their MOM Emmens found Stuart Thompson with a perfectly weighted cross which he despatched first time.
Raftery notched number 6 with a solo effort after he was put clean through and sub Robin King rounded matters off with an unstoppable drive from 20 yards.
