Danehill vs Keymer & Hassocks

In Div 4 K & H recorded an encouraging 8-2 win away at Danehill taking the game to their hosts from the off.
Toby Raftery opened the scoring with a solo effort but Danehill hit back capitalising on a goalkeeping error. Mike Ridley struck a clever ball into the Danehill box which was deflected by a defender for an own goal. Jo Davey netted number three with a clever lob.
The goal of the game was started when Craig Jackson played a ball out of defence to Matt Thomas, he passed it first time to Jo Davey who flicked it over his head and volleyed into the far corner. Gregor Ross then added the fifth keeping up his goal a game record.
Danehill raised their game after the break and put the K & H defence under some pressure. They were rewarded with an unstoppable header from a perfect corner.
K & H however stepped up a gear and their MOM Matt Thomas scored with a shot from the edge of the area. Raftery stroked home his second and Davey completed his hat-trick after rounding the keeper.
