Keymer & Hassocks vs Lindfield
Div 1
K & H secured a very welcome 5-1 win at home to Lindfield.
That said Lindfield had most of the possession in the first half although K & H felt they could contain them at least till half time. Also K & H did create a couple of really good chances but found the Lindfield keeper in fine form making an execellent save in a one on one with Ian Parsons. However he was finally beaten after a scramble in the penalty area saw the ball fall to Stuart Thiompson who calmly stroked it into the far corner
K & H were much more energised after the break and it was not long before troubled front man Robert Kift finally banished his demons and opened his account for the season from close range.Thompson then rode a firm challenge to wriggle free and find Toby Raftery at the edge of the six yard box and he smashed the third into the roof of the net.Kift added a second before Dan Goodrum headed in number five at the far post.Lindfield battled to the end and finally got their reward with minutes to go
Fin Fogarty got MOM for his faultless display at full back whilst new signing Ryan Daniels also impressed in midfield
