Framfield vs Keymer & Hassocks

K & H had only eight first teamers available for the trip to Framfield and in again looking for help from their 2nd team the latter were forced to concede their fixture so the fronts could get a side out
Framfield could rightly be described as a shithole given the amount of dog muck on the pitch-the game was held up for several minutes whilst a clean up of sort was attempted.The pitch has also been moved around so there is a massive slope from one end to the other.Not ideal playing conditions therefore but K & H's makeshift team managed to defend the slope for a nil nil at half time
Their best chance came just after the restart when Toby Raftery put James Harris in for a clear chance but with the goal gaping he pulled his shot wide.Framfield then took the lead through their impressive big front man with a perfectly placed header.K & H were offered a lifeline when a penalty was awarded for handball but Ian Parsons shot was well saved and he fired the rebound over
This clearly deflated K & H and it was no surprise when Framfield hit a second and went close for a third.A miserable day out then with the added delight of abuse for the lino from the home crowd-nice people-we will have to see if we can repay their generous spirit in the return
