Framfield & Blackboys vs Keymer & Hassocks
Division 4
Keymer & Hassocks notched a 2-1 victory away to Framfield & Blackboys in their first ever match in Division 4.Both sides contributed to an entertaining game despite the bumpy pitch and swirling wind.
James Emmens was denied early on by some fine keeping but eventually set up the first, Gregor Ross nodding home a perfect delivery. Framfield hit back and K & H MOM Craig Jackson was forced to save at full stretch.
Wayne Hamilton came on at half time and scored what proved to be the winner. He got a head to a corner only to miss the target but the ball was returned across the area and he made no mistake from close range.
Goalie Jackson then made a splendid fingertip save from a Framfield long range effort but the home side's persistence paid off with a late consolation.
