Keymer & Hassocks vs AFC Grinstead
Div 2
K & H playing their first game in weeks put on a spirited display as they came from behind to snatch a 3-2 win over AFC Grinstead. After a lively start they thought they had taken the lead when James Emmens finished off a good move but the effort was ruled out for offside. Both sides played an attacking game on a difficult surface for defenders and chances were created-it was K & H who eventually went ahead after Toby Raftery finished following a run into the box.AFC were causing plenty of problems with corners at the other end putting keeper Craig Jackson under considerable pressure which he withstood with some astute punching but they eventually drew level with a near post header he could do nothing about
AFC started the brighter after the break with good possession and again their delivery from corners posed problems which eventually lead to their second, a smart finish from close range.Emmens who had been quiet most of the game then started to see a lot more of the ball and he drew the home side level with a trademark shot on the run.Jo Davey finished off the comeback with a solo effort
Robin King won a penalty near the end when the ref ruled he had been tripped in the box but the AFC keeper who had been very impressive throughout kept out a well hit shot with an incredible save
