Keymer & Hassocks vs Felbridge
Div 2
K & H maintained their consistency with yet another defeat this time against Felbridge going down 3-5 at home.
After conceding an early goal it was always going to be a struggle and even though they might have scored five themselves Felbridge could have had seven.
There were however some positives notably the return to form of K & H MOM James Emmens and the fight back to 2-2 at the end of the first half.Emmens first was well worked Al Smith finding Stuart Thompson,a short cross to Emmens who finished first time. His second surpassed that however a perfectly driven free kick from outside the area.
After the break Felbridge always had enough to maintain their lead whilst for K & H Toby Raftery got off the mark for this season riding two firm challenges before firing into the top corner.Dan Southcombe impressed with his cameo role during the last fifteen.
Player Comments (Can you guess who's they are?):
Emmens went from zero to hero this week but his efforts weren't enough to pull us through. His half time replacement went from zero to well zero - a shocking display!
Great to see Tom Watson out injured again, his appearance ration of 1 in 4 is still an improvement on last year. Early retirement?
