Willingdon vs Keymer & Hassocks
Div 2
K & H eased to a 3-0 win away at Willingdon on a pitch both dry and wet in places which made control of the ball tricky for both sides.
The game was fairly even until K & H MOM Matt Thomas forced the ball home after the excellent Willingdon keeper failed to hold on to the ball.Willingdon appealed for a hand ball but the Ref was not persuaded.
Jo Davey then hit a deep cross to the far post-it looked a bit long for James Harris but he managed to climb just enough to guide it into the top corner.
The second half was a bit flat.Willingdon were the more lively but with the wind behind them many of the keepers long clearances carried through to K & H keeper Craig Jackson who was under no pressure to collect.
Stuart Thompson was again to prove instrumental in the final goal feeding Toby Raftery with a perfect through ball which he despatched powerfully giving the keeper no chance.
K & H then brought on their 3 subs James Handford Robin King and Fin Fogarty-Handford was unlucky with an effort that came back off the post whilst King also went close near the end.
