K & H came out on top of a very close contest v East Court with a narrow 1-0 victory
With none of their regular strikers available Mark Handford played his first game for some months and performed admirably as a lone striker without much support in the first half.
In truth the defences were on top for most of the half and few real chances were created.
K & H had to face the stiff breeze after the restart and for most of that period it was again evenly contested until K & H MOM Gregor Ross broke the deadlock firing home whilst on the ground.
James Emmens then went close aftre a determined run but his attempted chip was easily anticipated by the EC keeper.
EC applied a lot of pressure in the last 15 minutes clipping the crossbar and going close at the far post until in the dying minutes a fierce drive appeared to be on its way to deliver a share of the points only for keeper Craig Jackson to pull off a superb two handed save at full stretch.
