Keymer & Hassocks vs Maresfield
Div 3
K & H's guests Maresfield got off to a flying start as they shocked the home side with a cleverly hit shot which deceived keeper Craig Jackson, but Jackson was to prove instrumental in their recovery with a series of enormous clearances which in the stiff breeze made it difficult for the Maresfield defence to judge the flight of the ball.
James Emmens scored the equaliser running onto a Jon Ruffle through ball before K & H MOM Dave Edwards notched the second from a Jackson clearance.Shortly after he followed up with number three showing good control before firing home.
The second half was strangely flat with each side cancelling the other out and no real scoring opportunities created-perhaps attributed in part to the strengthening wind blowing accross the pitch.
