Dormansland Rockets vs Keymer & Hassocks

Keymer & Hassocks travelled to Dormansland where they produced a good all round team display in earning a 7-1 victory
Having met the hosts several times recently they expected an onslaught from the off but to their surprise Dormansland opted to kick up the hill and K & H were able to restrict the supply to their quick front 2 whilst at the same time getting the ball into their box as much as possible principally through James Emmens excellent crosses.
Stuart Thompson opened the scoring running on to a Gregor Ross pass and K & H MOM Dave Edwards hit the second after the keeper had made an excellent stop from Toby Raftery.Raftery set up the 3rd with a mazy run along the touchline picking out Thompson for a tap in.
In the second half K & H again looked comfortable at the back whilst finding space going forward and the chances came as Edwards hit an unstoppable free kick-Ross finished off a fine move and Thompson completed his hat-trick.Dormansland pulled one back capitalising on a poor clearance with a perfectly judged effort before.
rising star of the K & H Youth Academy-Noberto Handford rounded things off with a powerful header from an Edwards cross.
