Keymer & Hassocks vs Dormansland Rockets

If this was a boxing contest the referee might well have stopped the contest to save K & H from further punishment as Dormansland raced to a 3-0 lead in the first 20 minutes only being denied a fourth by an excellent Craig Jackson save.
Fin Fogarty was sent on to counteract Dormansland's pace up front and the effect was immediate allowing K & H to ease their way back-Jo Davey notching a first followed by a Gregor Ross stooping header and a Stuart Thompson effort from close range.
K & H started the second half with renewed confidence but the visitors were still well in it until Thompson broke the deadlock with number four.Dormansland perhaps paid the price for their earlier efforts in the hot conditions as they began to tire and despite never giving up K & H had too much left as their score mounted to 10-Thompson and Ross both completing hat tricks with a brace apiece from Davey & Toby Raftery.
K & H MOM went to Stuart Thompson for an all round class display.
