East Court vs Keymer & Hassocks
Division 3
K & H opened their season with a long trip to East Court but the journey proved worthwhile as they notched a 4-0 victory.
The first 20 minutes were evenly contested until inexpicably some of the home side started to make unflattering comments about the abilities of the K & H players. If any motivation was needed this was reason enough and James Emmens drilled home the first almost immediately-Toby Raftery hitiing the second with an opportunist effort.
After the break EC strove hard to get back into the game but K & H were knocking the ball about sweetly and the chances started to come .Jo Davey was to hit 2-1 a splendid solo effort that took him past 4 players.
K & H could have had more seeing 2 efforts cleared off the line and 1 hitting the post while EC forced Craig Jackson into a fine save near the end.
K & H MOM went to Dave Edwards for his tireless running.
